Angel & Urn - Goldenrod

This beautiful handmade tile is produced in the style of the Victorian era. The finely carved details depict a large central urn flanked on either side by foliage and angels. The sculpture this image is based on was original to Trajan's Forum in Rome. The glaze is a rich goldenrod (WA-5) that flows from the embossed design and pools in the recesses. It measures approximately 6 5/8" long x 4" high, varying slightly due to its handmade nature. What a wonderful focal point for your fireplace!!

Available in all glaze options - but detail is most pronounced in the WA series of glazes.
